ASUS G73JH RECOVERY PARTITION FREE DOWNLOAD

I attempted to download off of Chastidy's post, but the links are dead and I keep on running into brick walls Thanks in advance. Look in my New Drivers sticky. I haven't done this yet and I was wondering if I even can. If you need any more information about my system or software I'll let you know anything want to know. The extend volume option is greyed out as you can see in this picture: Is deleting this partition safe to do? A friend of mine gave this laptop to me to fix years ago back when it was pretty much new.

Sorry to drag up and old post but any luck finding the recovery discs or a way to recreate the recovery partition so that you dont have to rely on the DVDs?

I tried the method that the guy in the first thread used, draining the system and attempting a restore, but that leads to another problem After a few failed reboot attempts and passing enough time that I was convinced it wasn't going to change it's mind and work for me I took it all back apart to inspect everything for what could possibly be the problem. Recover windows to entire HD 3. Now when I attempt an f9 restore, it doesn't read the recovery partion. I don't have the factory recovery partition on this hard drive.

A few things to note; I'm not running the newest bios or vbios, however I have updated from to Rdslw 1 minute ago. Is there a good free program I can use to merge them?

It's out of warrenty from asus and bestbuy oartition only covers the hardware, so i'm in alot of trouble. On the other hand, that isn't taking much space on an otherwise huge hard drive, so if you don't want to go the trouble, it's not that big a deal. What Notebook Should I Buy?
